Instructions
Prepare the Sausage Gravy
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour until smooth to create a roux.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and simmers. Season with salt and pepper.
